The Lutanda Soccer Academy was first established in August 2009 in Lusaka Zambia. The purpose of the Academy was to create an outlet for the under privileged children from various compounds around Lusaka and the nation of Zambia at large.
From this humble beginning, we have identified the need not only to develop the footballing skills of the under privileged children but also the development of the individual academically.
In this light plans are underway to introduce a scholarship program whereby each player and a sibling is sponsored to go to school. In order to realize this, we are targeting some interested corporate organizations, well wishers, friends and well meaning individuals to partner with us whose ambition is to empower the under privileged children by imparting them with the skill in soccer and education.
