The Lutanda Soccer Academy have been crowned as Champions of the newly introduced Lusaka Zones Championship, the first of it's kind in grass roots soccer in Lusaka province. This was after a hard fought battle with a local rival Crested Crane run by the Zambia Army.
This championship was played in 15 minutes either side withoutr any rest and at the end of the 30 minutes the two teams were locked at 0-0 and later went into penalties where Lutanda made no mistake by converting all the 5 penalties while the oponents fumbled and thereby giving away the converted trophy to new comers the mighty Lutanda.
Clad in their traditional RED and WHITE PUMA attire and track suits, the boys seem to have intimidated their fellows just before kick off as they looked the part.
It was coaches Dickson Chungu and Saulosi Mumba's first attempt at collecting and decorating the Lutanda with honours and they proved they know what they are doing as they did it on behalf of Moses Munsaka who opted to watch the Chipolopolo at Lusaka's Nkoloma Stadium.
As management we are all excited at this great achievement by our coaches and wish them good luck in their future endeavours.
Look out for the pictures of the same within the next episode of the local news...
